TANEY COUNTY, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation says that the westbound Route 76 bridge over the MNA Railroad north of Branson will be temporarily closed as contractor crews rehabilitate the bridge in the first couple of months of 2025.
MoDOT states westbound Route 76 will be closed between Missouri Route 248 and Missouri Route 376 starting Monday, Jan. 6 until March 2025 barring any weather or construction delays. The ramp from Missouri Route 248 to westbound Route 76 will also be closed.
Drivers will be directed towards detours through Route 65 and Route 265 during the closure.
The rehabilitation project comes after crews made similar repairs to the eastbound portion of the Route 76 bridge from August to December 2024.
