Woman dies after Jeep crashes into two trees in Camden County
A woman from Linn Creek, Missouri, has died after a single-vehicle accident near Sunrise Beach Friday night.
CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. -- A woman from Linn Creek, Missouri, has died after a single-vehicle accident near Sunrise Beach Friday night.
Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says a 38-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot north on Camden County Route TT north of Crabapple Pass when the crash occurred.
According to the MSHP crash report, at 9:48 p.m., the Jeep was at a high rate of speed and started to skid as it came up on a curve. The Jeep then traveled off the roadway's right side and struck two trees, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times and eject the driver.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Camden County medical examiner. The next of kin have been notified of her passing.
This is the 52nd fatality for MSHP Troop F in 2024.
