Aldi’s issues recall of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos

Aldi’s is recalling a popular brand of taquitos sold in over 30 states including Arkansas, Missouri

In cooperation with Bestway Sandwiches, Inc., and out of an abundance of caution, ALDI Inc., (“ALDI”) is recalling over 25,000 lbs. of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos in 31 states.

The affected product from Bestway Sandwiches Inc. is being recalled due to potential foreign material, in this case metal.

The problem was discovered after the firm notified the Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS)  that it received a consumer complaint reporting that a piece of metal was found in the frozen chicken and cheese taquito product.

Another consumer reported to FSIS to have a dental injury from the product.

The recall affects: Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos 20-oz. box 4061459337471 distributed from  07/03/25 – 09/25/25

The affected product was sold at select ALDI stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

If customers have products affected by this recall, they are advised to discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
