All roads around Springfield and side roads are currently covered, as crews begin to work to clear the snow. Stay up to date with OzarksTraffic on crashes and slide-offs in and around Springfield.
The MoDOT Traveler Information Map shows all highways are covered in the state as of 8:40 a.m.
Slushy roads this afternoon will become icy overnight tonight into Saturday morning. Black ice is likely again on Sunday morning.
