Public assistance requested in locating two runaway Grove teens

GROVE, Okla. — The parents of two Grove students are asking the public for information about their children's whereabouts.

Grove Police Chief Mark Morris said Braxton Berry and Jennifer Deal's identities have been entered into a national database.  They are listed as runaways, he said.

The teens’ telephones are broken or disabled. The last known GPS address indicated the phones were near Miami on Saturday.  The individuals living at the address said they hadn’t seen the teens since Saturday.

Berry is 6 feet tall, weighs 260 pounds, and has brown curly hair and eyes.  He was last seen on January 2 wearing jeans and a light blue and white tribal print jacket and boots.  He is a Grove High School senior.

He was supposed to return home on January 3 but hasn’t been seen.  His family said he withdrew almost $300 from his bank account on Jan. 3.

The last known vehicle he was driving was a Tahoe discovered wrecked in a Miami field with mud up to the vehicle’s axles.

Deal is 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 105 pounds, and has black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
