Hazelwood man gunned down in Ferguson over the weekend

FERGUSON, Mo. – A Hazelwood man is dead following a shooting Saturday night in Ferguson.

According to a spokeswoman for the Ferguson Police Department, the shooting happened before 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Randolph Street.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area and found the victim, Darrean Proudie, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Proudie was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 19.
