Branson home destroyed by fire Friday night
On Friday, January 3, Branson and Taney County firefighters had to fight a house fire, resulting in a total loss of the home.
TANEY COUNTY, Mo. -- On Friday, January 3, Branson and Western Taney County firefighters had to fight a house fire that resulted in a total loss of the home.
According to the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, firefighters were called to Quail Road in Branson at approximately 6:45 p.m. for reports of smoke in the area. A unit arrived to find a home on fire with fire through the roof.
The Branson Fire Department and other local personnel were called to assist Western Taney County firefighters in battling the fire throughout the night. Unfortunately, the house was destroyed in the fire, says Western Taney firefighters.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire and the Red Cross was called to help out the homeowners. No firefighters or other personnel were injured.
The Western Taney County Fire District says the State Fire Marshal is conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the house fire.
