While running for President, Donald Trump pledged a lot of things he plans to do on day one.
Southwest Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison tells Newstalk KZRG what he thinks Trump will do.
“I think the message is, he’s going to move as quickly as possible on the things that he says that he’s going to be working on day one. I think all the things he’s suggested on day one, they’re the top priorities. They will get done and they’ll get done as quickly as humanly possible.”
When President Biden had his nominees up for confirmation, some Republican Senators voted yes because of tradition.
Will those same Republican Senators vote for Trump’s nominees?
Congressman Eric Burlison believes they will.
“At the end of the day, I think that they will fold under pressure, because the American people are not going to tolerate you, if you’re going to reject Trump’s picks.”
