Driver charged with intentionally crashing vehicle into house
A De Soto man has a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly driving a vehicle into a neighbor’s home last summer.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – A De Soto man has a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly driving a vehicle into a neighbor’s home last summer.
According to the De Soto Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crash happened in the overnight hours of June 26, 2024, on Donna Drive.
Three people were injured when an SUV slammed through the living room.
Police said the driver, Mark S. Wilson (age not provided), had called the landlord the day prior and promised the house would have to be vacated.
The home sustained more than $13,000 in damage.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Wilson with three counts of first-degree assault, one count of first-degree property damage, and four counts of armed criminal action.
Wilson currently has another arrest warrant in Jefferson County for unlawful use of a weapon. He is not in custody, according to online court records.
