Man dead in crash on Highway 60 between Springfield and Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE, Mo. — A man from Rogersville died and another person was injured in a two-car crash near Rogersville.

According to the Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District (LRFPD), crews arrived at U.S. Highway 60 and Farm Road 213 around 5:30 p.m. for reports of two cars in the median.

Rogersville Police Chief Paul Laughlin says one car was northbound on Farm Road 213, crossing over U.S. Highway 60. As it crossed the eastbound lanes of U.S. 60, the northbound vehicle hit an eastbound car.

The northbound driver was killed in the crash. According to Laughlin, the driver was Glenn Gilmore of Rogersville. Gilmore's family has been notified.

Laughlin also said the driver of the eastbound vehicle suffered only minor injuries.
