JOPLIN, Mo. — If you've resolved to drive a new car in the new year, experts say you've picked a good time to buy.
The reason: much like they do every year, many dealers are doing everything they can to meet year-end, quarterly, and month-end sales quotas.
We spent some time today at Roper Kia in Joplin, where officials say it's a case of out with the old and in with the new models.
"A lot of dealers are looking to move inventory before the new year, there's a lot of sticker sales events going on, a lot of deep discounts on vehicles just to be able to move them, and another big reason I tell my customers is because their trade come the first of the year is going to be another year older," said Grant Conrad, Roper Kia.
Even if you can't pull the trigger on purchasing at year's end, some of the same incentives will continue into the first few days of the new year.
