SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Two people are safe after an early morning water rescue in southeast Springfield.
According to the Logan-Rogersville Fire Protection District (LRFPD), a car with two people in their 20s slid off the road into Pearson Creek in the early morning of Jan. 10, 2025.
Both people were able to escape the vehicle by the time officers arrived on scene and were taken to the hospital to be checked for hypothermia. There were no other injuries.
