ST. LOUIS – Two men were robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood Friday morning.
Police say it happened early Friday morning on Papin Street off of South Sarah Street.
The victims, ages 44 and 36, told police they had just parked and were walking to a business to apply for jobs when two suspects approached them.
Police say the suspects, one armed with a gun and the other with a knife, forced the men into a vacant warehouse, demanded they hand over their cell phones and car keys, and threatened them.
After a few tense moments, the suspects let the men go. The victims ran to a business where they found a security officer and called police. Officers later discovered the victims’ car had been stolen.
