SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Two people have been arrested for allegedly robbing their neighbor on New Year's Day.
According to the Springfield Police Department (SPD), officers responded to the 1500 block of E. Nora St., which sits southwest of the I-44 and Glenstone Avenue interchange, at around 8:14 p.m. for reports of a robbery.
SPD says both suspects went into their neighbor's home with a gun and a disturbance occurred. The suspects stole a firearm from the residence before fleeing back to their own home.
Poice say when officers arrived, the suspects came out of their home and were taken into custody without incident.
Both suspects are currently being held in the Greene County Jail and charges against them are pending.
