USA Today asked a panel of experts to nominate their favorite new attractions, and readers voted for their top picks. The new "Fire in the Hole" roller coaster at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, ranked number two for best new attractions.
The roller coaster features three drops, including a water splashdown, and a track length of more than 1,500 feet, making it the largest indoor coaster in the Midwest, according to USA Today.
"Fire in the Hole" ranked above "The Dolly Parton Experience" at Dollywood in Pigeon Force, Tennessee, and "Penguin Trek" at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.
"Good Gravy!" at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana, ranked number one as a Thanksgiving-themed roller coaster that is 1,500 feet long and seven stories tall.
