Allison Zahner officially began on December 28, replacing Bart Starkey, who retired. She's the first woman to hold the position in Joplin, and also the youngest—she's 23.
She’s had her pilot’s license since she was 17.
She graduated from Central Missouri and also earned her MBA there in airport management. She had been the airport’s administrative assistant before assuming her new role.
