Missing Illinois woman presumed dead; St. Charles police investigate
St. Charles Police are working with Quincy Police to investigate the disappearance of Brittney D. Hoffman-Kelly, who is now considered to be dead, and are asking for public assistance in locating her remains.
ST. CHARLES, Mo. - St. Charles City and Quincy Police Departments are investigating the presumed death of a missing Quincy, Illinois, woman last seen in St. Charles.
The Quincy Police Department has been investigating the whereabouts of Hoffman-Kelly, who was last heard from on Dec. 14 in St. Charles. The case has been classified as a homicide investigation due to evidence obtained by St. Charles Police, but the location of her remains is still unknown.
Investigators say Hoffman-Kelly was last seen driving a 2020 Audi with Illinois registration ET-25911.
Police say Chadwick Kelly, a man who was involved in a fatal standoff with police in La Belle, Missouri, on Dec. 20, is considered a suspect in the death of Hoffman-Kelly.
