CAMDENTON, Mo. — A man charged with assault in a shooting death at a bar in Lake of the Ozarks in 2021 has pled guilty.
Craig Hawkins Jr., 27, entered a guilty plea for second-degree assault and was sentenced to five years of supervised probation. If any violations occur, Hawkins will have to serve four years in prison.
In 2021, Hawkins and Chad Tariz Brewer were seen on security footage, which showed Vonza Watson at Lazy Gators Bar being beaten by Hawkins before being shot by Brewer.
