ST. LOUIS - Detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a shooting that happened in Carr Square in the 1300 block of North 16th Street on Saturday night.
Police say they received a call for a shooting just after 10:30 p.m. When they arrived they found a 5-year-old boy who was injured by flying glass after gunshots rang out, and came through the window.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital.
The investigation remains ongoing.
